“Get Out of My Country”

Get Out of My Country

Diversity has been London’s greatest strength Its’s known for being an inclusive city and welcoming of all cultures, religions and nationalities.

However, in recent years, London has seen a change. There has been a growth in the far-right movement, which has divided opinions.

Women are more likely to be attacked or abused if they were wearing Islamic clothing, as more than a third of victims are visibly Muslim.

Get Out of My Country is about my personal experience of being on the receiving end of hatred more than once.

Recently I was subjected to intimidation and harassment in my neighbourhood.

The photos I am presenting, document how the harassment affected my Life. How I felt like I had become a prisoner in my own home..

I used photography as a way of coping, despite what was going on around me.
